Closed Tennis Tournament Results On a day that saw heavy showers and sunshine, the 2010 finalists braved the elements determined not to be beaten by the weather and Kirstie Leach achieved her 4th successive hat-trick!
In impressive style both Kirstie Leach and Moritz Buescher retained the Ladies and Men’s Singles titles respectively in the 2010 club championships.
Kirstie achieved a decisive victory over Sian Bussy but Mo had to battle it out in a 3rd set tie-break against Matt Mai. Kirstie and Sian then went on to win the Ladies Doubles title against Angie Fitz Henry and Claire Archdall
Mo also retained the Men’s Doubles title with partner Alex Schulz overcoming Gareth Preece and Mike Stephens in the pouring rain!
Last but not least Kirstie and Gareth retained their Mixed Doubles title
